The Internet Erupts in Unbridled Joy as Majora’s Mask Is Officially Announced for the 3DS

It’s always fun to see years of rumor and speculation culminate with what everyone wanted all along. That’s precisely what occurred tonight when Nintendo announced a remastered release of their classic Nintendo 64 title, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, for the Nintendo 3DS. This shouldn’t really come as much of a surprise, given the 2011 release of the game’s precursor, Ocarina of Time, for the very same system. Series producer Eiji Aonuma hasn’t exactly been dismissive of the rumors surrounding a potential remastering of Majora’s Mask, either.
