Retro World Series Is Hosting NHL 94 and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 Tournaments Online

Retro World Series

Have you ever wanted to join a retro gaming tournament where you can win cash prizes (or even medals)? Well, Retro World Series makes it possible, and they’re currently in the middle of their Summer League Online event. The action happens online, so there’s no need to even leave your home, whether you want to compete or just watch.

In week 4 of this series, they’ll be hosting NHL ’94 and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. NHL ’94 is one of EA’s legendary sports titles, released in 1993 for Super NES, Sega Genesis, and Sega CD. Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 was the souped-up version of Mortal Kombat 3, which released as an arcade machine in 1995 before being ported to consoles later.

Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3

The action happens on July 18, 2020. NHL ’94 is scheduled for 2pm Central, while Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 starts at 6pm Central. You can watch all of this glorious retro gaming goodness on Twitch from the comfort of your own home.

There’s still time to register, so get on that if you want to compete! (Registration will cost you $10, and you must be 18 or older.)
